Located in B22, you'll become an important part of the ward team, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the unit and supporting clinicians to deliver exceptional patient care. What you'll be doing As a Ward Clerk, you'll provide essential administrative and customer service support to nurses, medical staff and allied health professionals. Working under the direction of the Nurse/Unit Manager, you'll use your initiative and organisational skills to keep ward operations running efficiently. * Provide professional, compassionate customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff. * Deliver accurate ward administration, including patient data entry, records management and maintaining inpatient files. * Support patient flow and ward operations through timely processing of documentation and information. * Coordinate the safe storage and return of patient belongings, clothing, files and ward resources. * Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to respond to competing priorities and resolve day-to-day administrative challenges.
