AO3 Administration Support Officer Location: Nerang, QLD Contract: 3 Months (commencing late August) Pay Rate: $51.13 - $56.72 per hour + Super

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Administration Support Officer to join a busy government team in Nerang. This role provides critical administrative support to engineering, professional, and technical staff within the Corridor Management team, ensuring the efficient delivery of services and compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities • Provide high-level administrative support to engineers and technical staff. • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record and distribute minutes. • Maintain spreadsheets, registers, reports, and other administrative documentation. • Support the assessment and approval of Traffic Control Permits, Road Corridor Permits, Development Applications, and Property Searches. • Utilise a range of systems including Microsoft Office, eDAM, DMS, GIS, and other internal databases. • Manage competing priorities and ensure work is completed within required timeframes. • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, legislation, and governance requirements.

About You • Previous administrative experience in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • High attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Experience working with government systems or permit processing is highly regarded.
