About this role

The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking motivated, capable and forward-thinking technology professionals to join the Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Operations team at Australian Parliament House. We are recruiting for both Applications Administrator (PSL5) and Senior Applications Administrator (PSL6) positions.

Working within the Information Services Division (ISD), you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing the enterprise security systems that underpin the safety, security and resilience of Parliament House, its occupants and national democratic processes. You will work across a diverse and evolving technology environment that includes Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS), CCTV and video management platforms, intercom technologies, monitoring solutions, integrations, databases and supporting infrastructure.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the operation, maintenance, improvement and future direction of mission-critical systems that operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will collaborate with technical specialists, business stakeholders and industry partners to deliver operational excellence, drive innovation, resolve complex challenges and strengthen the security capabilities of Australian Parliament House.

If you are passionate about technology, enjoy solving complex problems, and want your work to have a visible and meaningful impact, this role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most important and technically diverse security systems in the Commonwealth.
