About the role
The Engagement Officer, Online Networks plays a critical role in fostering connected, collaborative professional communities for South Australian educators, by strategically designing and facilitating opportunities for teachers and school leaders to share best practices while engaging with curriculum and learning staff and services.
The Engagement Officer works to bridge the gap between departmental policy and classroom practice by building high-functioning networks. The Officer ensures that educators across the state from preschool to secondary have equitable access to peer support, research-informed resources, and real-time collaboration tools, ultimately driving better learning outcomes for all South Australian students.
Qualifications
Essential: Nil
Desirable: A relevant tertiary qualification in education, community engagement or related discipline.
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO6 $105,747- $111,854 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
