About the Role

The Assistant Director Sector Capability and Quality is responsible for leading and supporting the strategic and operational functions of the Education and Engagement teams for the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. This includes overseeing educational program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation in line with best practice adult education application and learner engagement principles, as well as building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders through engagement opportunities.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Build and lead teams, coach and mentor staff to elicit high performance, and manage underperformance • Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and optimise education opportunities, facilitate cooperation and achieve sector education outcomes for the NDIS commission • Oversee the development and execution of the sector education strategy • Manage the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of best practice, tailored, engaging adult education products/activities that uplift capability
