Where you'll be working Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital - Mental Health Intensive Care Unit. What you'll be doing You'll be a part of a multidisciplinary team committed to recovery-oriented practice, innovation and continuous improvement - making a real difference in the lives of consumers, their families/ carers and the broader community. Drive clinical excellence in a dynamic multidisciplinary hospital team. You will be providing psychological support services in a recovery-oriented, trauma informed setting that are guided by evidence based practices and collaboration. You will take a senior clinical role in the management of complex cases and maintain a clinical caseload which will involve direct clinical work with adults with complex mental health disorders and risk factors Your clinical expertise and strategic vision will directly shape the delivery of holistic, person-centred care for individuals and with complex mental health and physical health needs, along with their families and carers. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: * Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist with a Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or relevant clinical area in psychology and Post graduate experience in acute mental health and/or inpatient psychiatric settings. Current NSW Drivers License. * Experience, knowledge and skills in therapy provision for adult mental health consumers with high level acuity and complexity. * Demonstrated experience in the understanding of mental health diagnosis, risk management and assessment of adult mental health consumers with high level acuity and complexity. * Experience, knowledge and skills in care planning, family engagement referral and follow up. Demonstrated commitment to a consumer-focused recovery- orientated approach and consumer collaboration in care planning. * Able to work autonomously, to manage time well and prioritise workload, as well as part of a team.
