• Position Brief - Community Facilities Planning Officer

About the role

The Community Facilities Planning Officer is responsible for planning and overseeing capital works programs both renewals, and new & upgrades, for the City’s Community Infrastructure.

The position focuses on the capital planning phase of the asset lifecycle, ensuring capital works programs are strategically developed to support compliance, optimise whole-of-life performance, and deliver value across the City’s community infrastructure assets.

We’re looking for people who have:

• Bachelor in Business / Commerce / Engineering or relevant equivalent knowledge and experience

• C Class Drivers Licence (unrestricted) (Mandatory)

• Demonstrated experience in project or program management

• High attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills to actively engage with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to think outside of the box to enhance ways of working
