About the role

The Contract and Commercial Officer – Projects & Third-Party Agreements supports contract administration and project delivery across the Victorian rail network. The role manages contractual documentation, compliance requirements, and commercial processes while applying knowledge of commercial terms to support project and third-party agreement outcomes.

The role identifies and monitors risks, supports stakeholder relationships with rail operators and DTP teams, manages reporting and correspondence, coordinates claims, and ensures contractual deliverables are met. It also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, value-for-money outcomes, and safe, inclusive, and effective team operations.

Qualifications and experience

You’ll bring:

• Experience administering multi-party commercial contracts and providing contractual administration support within operational and/or project environments (mandatory).

• A tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Commerce, or a related discipline.

• A relevant Certificate IV or Diploma with demonstrated experience in contract administration or commercial support environments.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
