About the Role

The Director leads a team and is responsible for providing advice and guidance on policy projects as they arise such as the formulation and evaluation of best practice policies, procedures, programs and activities for the NDIS Commission.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Coordinate and provide sound advice on current and emerging issues related to the NDIS Commission’s legislative responsibilities, including engagement with subject matter experts to develop policy and positions • Develop and maintain relationships with a large and diverse range of external stakeholders, including people with disability and representative organisations, providers, the portfolio department, and other regulatory bodies to facilitate the development of policy advice and represent the NDIS Commission more broadly • Prepare high quality written reports, briefs and correspondence for a range of strategic policy activities
