We are undertaking a landmark $1.3 billion infrastructure renewal program, led by the creation of Powerhouse Parramatta; expanded research and public facilities at Powerhouse Castle Hill; the heritage revitalisation of the iconic Powerhouse Ultimo; and the ongoing operation of Sydney Observatory. Lead Duty Technician Powerhouse Parramatta 2X 1 year contract 1X 4 years contract Join Powerhouse Parramatta’s Technical Production team and play a key role in delivering outstanding exhibitions, programs and events. We are seeking three Lead Duty Technicians to join the team: two positions on 1-year contracts and one position on a 4-year contract. As Lead Duty Technician, you’ll oversee the day-to-day technical presentation of exhibitions, troubleshoot issues, and support the setup and operation of audio, video, lighting and broadcast equipment. You’ll work collaboratively across the Museum to deliver creative, practical and high-quality technical solutions, while providing supervision, training and support to Duty Technicians. We’re looking for experienced technical professionals with 6+ years’ experience in performance or exhibition video, projection, broadcasting, lighting or audio technology, ideally within the creative or entertainment industries.
