We have therapists specialised across all caseloads working together to support each other working with complex patients to deliver patient centred care. The Occupational Therapy department supports clinicians through: * Driving innovation and learning * Prioritising self-care and wellbeing * Clear communication & feedback * Valuing teamwork & collaboration This position will be supporting the OT department during periods of planned leave / vacancies. You will be provided with clinical supervision and support to ensure your professional development needs are supported. As well as well as supported orientation and a dedicated supervisor, to support you as you commence your OT career within SESLHD we also have: * SESLHD OT Early Career network * BUILD Opportunities Program: for Allied Health Professional staff at levels one and two. It sets out opportunities to advance skill-sets across six development areas, the steps involved in attaining these skills, and a formal progress report document. Clinicians can further develop their knowledge base, experiences and skills to support their applications for more senior roles * The Safety and Quality Essentials Pathway https://www.cec.health.nsw.gov.au/CEC-Academy/safety-and-quality-essentials-pathways * Accelerated Implementation Methodology (AIM) https://www.seslhd.health.nsw.gov.au/services-clinics/directory/accelerated-implementation-methodology-aim Selection Criteria * Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and Current Registration with AHPRA. * Demonstrated core competency skills relevant to the facility and the occupational therapy service. * Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery. * Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience. * Computer skills and the capacity to use health information systems. * Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice and a commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning. * Current Class C Drivers Licence.
