You'll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely access to specialist care by coordinating appointments, managing referrals and providing exceptional administrative support. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an evolving OACCP service with a vision to establish a Joint Health Centre within WSLHD as a recognised centre of excellence. What you'll be doing As an Administration Officer, you'll provide professional administrative and customer service support that keeps the Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program running efficiently. You'll work closely with clinicians, patients and external healthcare providers to coordinate appointments, manage referrals and maintain accurate patient information while ensuring every interaction is delivered with professionalism, empathy and respect. * Coordinate referrals, manage electronic waiting lists and schedule clinics and group appointments. * Communicate with patients and healthcare providers by phone, email, mail and electronic messaging. * Monitor and maintain accurate patient records while ensuring privacy and confidentiality. * Perform regular waitlist audits and administrative reporting in line with NSW Health policies. * Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to continuous service improvement.
