Finance Manager Operations Powerhouse Ultimo Clerk Grade 9/10 Ongoing Join Powerhouse at a transformative time as we deliver one of Australia's largest cultural infrastructure programs. We are seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee finance operations, statutory reporting, treasury, financial controls and audit, while leading a high-performing team and driving continuous improvement across our finance function. Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with NSW Treasury policies, Australian Accounting Standards and public sector legislation. You'll also provide expert financial advice to senior leaders, lead external audits, oversee financial reporting, and champion process improvements that support strategic decision-making. To succeed, you will be a CA or CPA qualified finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting, audit, accounting standards and leading finance teams. Experience within the NSW Government or broader public sector and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP will be highly regarded. About Powerhouse Powerhouse Museum is located at the intersection of arts, design, science, and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues. It is the custodian of more than half a million objects of national and international significance and is considered one of the finest and most diverse collections in Australia. We are undertaking a landmark $1.3 billion infrastructure renewal program, led by the creation of Powerhouse Parramatta; expanded research and public facilities at Powerhouse Castle Hill; the heritage revitalisation of the iconic Powerhouse Ultimo; and the ongoing operation of Sydney Observatory.
