We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Business Partner to lead a talented team in delivering strategic, integrated and innovative marketing and communication initiatives.

About the role

As the Marketing Business Partner, you will play a key role in developing and managing a portfolio of impactful marketing campaigns that align with the City’s priorities and community values. You’ll be responsible for ensuring communications are evidence-based, relevant, personalised and deliver real value for money.

Collaboration will be central to your success. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to leverage City initiatives and build strong partnerships. You’ll inspire and mentor a small team of marketing officers, fostering a culture of creativity, wellbeing, and continual improvement.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving the design, delivery and reporting of strategic marketing campaigns.

• Overseeing research and insights to measure effectiveness and guide innovation.

• Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across the City and beyond.

• Prioritising marketing that aligns with City priorities and community values.

• Leading a team of passionate marketing officers to deliver best-practice outcomes.

• Contributing to a high-performing and collaborative Marketing and External Communications team.

You’ll bring strong campaign management experience, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to balance big-picture thinking with practical delivery.
