Reporting within the Research and Innovation framework, you will provide strategic leadership to develop, implement and evaluate nursing and midwifery research initiatives that improve patient, staff and service outcomes. Working closely with senior executives, universities, research partners and multidisciplinary teams, you will drive translational research, strengthen research governance, build workforce capability and foster a culture of innovation and evidence-based practice across a diverse and dynamic health environment. We are seeking an experienced and passionate nursing or midwifery leader with current AHPRA registration, relevant postgraduate qualifications (or substantial progress towards same), and at least three years' senior nursing and/or midwifery experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with demonstrated research leadership skills, experience managing complex projects and funding opportunities, and a commitment to mentoring clinicians to undertake, publish and present research.
