Join the Team As an Oracle Applications DBA/Engineer within our Cloud and Enterprise Infrastructure Services (CEIS) team, you will be responsible for developing, planning and delivering systems architecture and ensuring the successful build, operation and running of products or platforms in alignment with relevant roadmaps. In this role, you will: * Lead enterprise-scale operational support for critical Oracle applications hosted on Oracle Engineered Systems and Cloud platforms, ensuring high availability across a complex statewide environment with extensive integrations. * Secure Oracle database and application platforms through proactive management, regular patching, access controls, monitoring to meet enterprise cyber security standards. * Engineer automated deployment, cloning and environment build processes to improve consistency and service delivery across the organization. * Deliver performance management, capacity planning and technology uplift that maintain reliability, scalability and operational efficiency for high-volume enterprise application services supporting statewide operations. View the position description here About You To be successful in this role, you will need: * Extensive technical experience managing Oracle applications, including Oracle E-Business suite. * Extensive technical experience with advance cloning techniques, patching and upgrade of Oracle Database and Oracle E-Business suite. * Extensive experience designing and delivering Oracle based solutions leveraging Oracle Engineered Systems as well as cloud platforms. * Strong understanding of Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Application Manager, RMAN and Oracle Recovery Appliance, including the touch points between Oracle e-Business suite and products such as Endeca, WebCenter & Oracle Identity Suite. * Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware products, including one or more of the following: * Oracle Identity Management (OID, OAM and OIM) * Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB) * Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) * Oracle WebCenter (WCC) * Superior experience and a record of achievement in planning, leading and managing critical, highly complex technical solutions in a large and complex service industry organisation. * Demonstrate knowledge of the architecture as well as operational aspects of Oracle E-Business suite and Oracle Fusion Middleware. * Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes. * Superior analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
