About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking qualified Social Workers, Counsellors, Nurses or Psychologists to join our multidisciplinary Pain Rehabilitation team within Primary and Community Services.

Our Pain Rehabilitation Clinic delivers evidence-based, person-centred care to support people living with persistent or chronic pain, using a collaborative biopsychosocial approach to improve health, wellbeing and quality of life. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will provide individual counselling and contribute to educational group sessions as part of our six-week Pain Rehabilitation Program, empowering clients to develop the knowledge, skills and strategies to better manage their pain.

What you bring

• A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Nursing or a related discipline, with relevant clinical experience.

• Experience delivering person-centred, evidence-based care, ideally within rehabilitation, primary health or chronic pain services.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while managing your workload effectively.

• Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving and organisational skills, supported by accurate documentation and computer proficiency.
