About Us Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is an exceptional environment to advance your career while enhancing your skills and expertise. The Primary Care and Community Health Unit consists of 9 centres that provide a range of services for children, young people and their families, adults, older people and their carers. Our services range from health promotion, prevention and early detection through to assessment, treatment and continuing care. Our staff work in partnership with schools, GPs, hospitals, non-government agencies and other organisations to provide care across our centres, in people’s homes, other community venues as well as virtual care (telehealth). This Physiotherapist role is part of a community‑based team that provides high‑quality physiotherapy interventions across a broad range of services and diverse client presentations. The physiotherapy team delivers assessments and interventions to clients living in their own homes or attending a community health centre, as well as running group exercise programs at community centres. What you will bring to the role * Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and Current National Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA). * Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment and intervention across a broad range of clinical presentations, commensurate with level of experience. * Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills. * Demonstrated effective time management skills. * Demonstrated commitment to professional development and demonstrated knowledge of Quality Improvement & Evidence Based Practice. * Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills within a health environment, with experience working in multidisciplinary team settings. * Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel. This may include driving long distances across the LHD.
