About the role
The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking enthusiastic and safety-focused Professional Ocean Lifeguards (Level 1) to join our Lifeguard Services team on a casual basis. Reporting to the Lifeguard Services Team Leader, you will help deliver professional lifeguard services across designated beach locations, monitor flagged swimming areas, assist with emergency response activities, support beach safety education programs and provide exceptional customer service to the community. This role plays a critical part in maintaining safe and enjoyable coastal environments for residents and visitors

About you
You hold a current Australian Professional Ocean Lifeguard Award Level 1 (or equivalent), First Aid and CPR qualifications, a Working with Children Check and a Class C Driver Licence. You have strong communication and teamwork skills, enjoy working with the public and can remain calm and make sound decisions in dynamic and emergency situations. Experience as a volunteer lifesaver and participation in ocean-based activities will be highly regarded. You are committed to safety, customer service and contributing positively to a professional team environment.
What’s on offer?
• Competitive Salary (from $31.60 per hour) depending on your capabilities and experience + 25% casual loading + 12% superannuation
