About the role

The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking experienced Professional Ocean Lifeguards (Level 2) to join our Lifeguard Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering professional lifeguard services across designated beach locations, including beach surveillance, preventative actions, emergency response, public education and daily operational activities. You will play an important role in maintaining safe beach environments, supporting emergency response activities where qualified and contributing to positive experiences for residents and visitors alike.

About you

You are an experienced Professional Ocean Lifeguard with a current Australian Professional Ocean Lifeguard Award Level 2 qualification and Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy certification. You have strong beach safety knowledge, sound judgement and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. You enjoy working with the public, contribute positively to a team environment and are committed to delivering safe and professional beach services. Desirable qualifications such as a Personal Watercraft Licence or Certificate III Public Safety (Aquatic Search & Rescue) will be highly regarded.
