Road Workers - Plant Operators - HR Drivers MULTIPLE ROLES

About the roles We are currently seeking experienced and reliable candidates for multiple temporary road maintenance related opportunities with a State Government client , based in the Narrandera region.

These roles offer a 9-day fortnight, with 8.5 hours per day and 76 hours per fortnight. All positions involve working as part of a road construction and maintenance crew, with opportunities for extension depending on operational requirements.

Road Worker (multiple positions) - $45.45 per hour + super + allowances • Perform routine and repetitive physical tasks using hand and power tools and machinery. • Carry out routine maintenance including road pavement repairs, pothole repairs and shoves. • Assist with guard rail, signage, guide posts and rubbish collection. • Perform traffic control duties as required.

HR Truck Driver with Plant Experience - $48.94 per hour + super + allowances • Operate an HR Water Cart and a range of earthmoving plant. • Operate loaders, rollers and other plant as required, including multi, padfoot and smooth drum rollers. • Assist with road construction and maintenance activities. • Work across the South West region, with work commencing around Tocumwal/Finley/Narrandera and concluding around Darlington Point. • Travel and camp away from the depot as required.

Plant Operator - $48.94 per hour + super + allowances • Operate loaders, rollers and other plant as required, including multi, padfoot and smooth drum rollers. • Assist with road construction and maintenance activities. • Assist with road construction and maintenance activities.

Skills and Experience Road Worker Grade 3 • White Card. • Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence – MR licence highly desirable. • Work on Foot (WOF) qualification, or willingness to obtain. • Traffic Controller (TC) qualification, or willingness to obtain. • Previous road maintenance, civil construction or labouring experience is highly regarded. • Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Ability to pass a National Police Check.

HR Truck Driver with Plant Experience • White Card. • Current HR driver's licence – essential. • Work on Foot (WOF) qualification, or willingness to obtain. • Traffic Controller (TC) qualification, or willingness to obtain. • Demonstrated experience operating plant such as loaders and rollers. • Experience operating a Water Cart and/or working on road construction projects is highly regarded. • Must be willing to camp away from the depot (accommodation provided + additional allowances when camping away) • Ability to pass a National Police Check.

Plant Operator • White Card. • Current MR driver's licence or above– essential. • Work on Foot (WOF) qualification, or willingness to obtain. • Traffic Controller (TC) qualification, or willingness to obtain. • Demonstrated experience operating plant such as loaders and rollers. • Ability to pass a National Police Check.
