Where you'll be working Nursing and Midwifery Directorate- RNSH Campus, with flexibility to travel to facilities within NSLHD as required. What you'll be doing The Safe Staffing Levels Project Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the implementation of Safe Staffing Levels across Northern Sydney Local Health District. Working closely with the Safe Staffing Levels Nurse Managers and Nursing and Midwifery Workforce team, the role provides high-level coordination, recruitment, operational and data management support to ensure the right people are recruited, onboarded and supported at the right time. The role manages high-volume recruitment activities, coordinates resources and schedules, maintains accurate workforce and establishment records, and ensures data is captured, maintained and reported effectively to support workforce planning and decision-making. The role also provides timely advice and support to applicants, facilities and key stakeholders, while ensuring recruitment activities align with NSW Health policies, industrial awards and accreditation requirements. With a strong focus on organisation, data accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement, the role helps streamline workforce processes, strengthen reporting and data integrity, and contribute to the successful delivery of a major healthcare workforce initiative across Northern Sydney. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: * Experience coordinating high-volume recruitment, workforce activities and project support, preferably within a health or complex organisational environment, with strong HRIS and data management skills. * Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, manage competing priorities and deadlines, and use initiative and sound problem-solving skills while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. * Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and effectively engage with staff, applicants and stakeholders at all levels.
