In this role, you'll: Be working as part of a team delivering contract management and governance support for transport services, helping ensure services are safe, reliable, customer-focused and deliver value for money. This role will see you support contract development, negotiation and day-to-day contract management, while building strong relationships with service providers and stakeholders across Transport. You’ll navigate contract performance, governance and operational matters in a complex environment, providing analysis, advice and continuous improvement opportunities that support better customer outcomes. This role is based in Newcastle and is hybrid friendly meaning flexible work options may be available. About you Your contract management expertise, commercial acumen and analytical skills formed across transport, government or other regulated environments will see you contribute to compliant contracts, effective service delivery and informed decision-making. You’re recognised as collaborative and solutions-focused, skilled at managing stakeholder relationships, analysing performance data and preparing clear, practical advice on contractual matters. You’ve got experience in contract development, negotiation, governance and administration, along with knowledge of commercial and contract management principles and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
