Your opportunity

The Senior Director Primary Health Care provides strategic leadership and oversight for the delivery of primary health care services across the Torres Strait and Northern Peninsula Area.

As part of the Northern Leadership Team, this role provides strategic direction, operational guidance and leadership to support the delivery of high-quality, accessible and culturally appropriate health services across 21 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. With responsibility for strategic planning, service performance, workforce oversight of 137 FTE and an annual operating budget of $38M, this position plays a key role in strengthening primary health care outcomes across the region.

Identified Role: Under Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.

• Base salary between:

• NRG11: $184,099 p.a.

• HP6: $161,540 - $167,217 p.a.

• HWF7: $161,396 - $172,234 p.a.

• Employer superannuation contribution of 12.75% and salary packaging options

• 17.5% loading on annual leave
