The team supports whole-of-government digital products by maintaining and uplifting Drupal platforms, enabling secure PaaS and SaaS services, supporting releases and operational reliability, and improving platform engineering practices across development, security, accessibility and service delivery.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Department of Finance is seeking an experienced APS6 Senior Drupal Developer who can apply specialist technical knowledge to deliver Drupal-based solutions supporting whole-of-government digital products. The role works under limited direction, is accountable for delivery of defined work packages, contributes to technical decision-making and ensures outcomes align with team objectives, standards and priorities.

The role contributes to maintaining platform stability, meeting security and compliance requirements, supporting strategic initiatives and strengthening development capability within the team.

The successful candidate will:

• Apply sound judgement and technical expertise in Drupal development and web technologies. • Work with limited direction and take responsibility for achieving defined outcomes. • Contribute to decision-making and problem-solving in an Agile environment. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members. • Support continuous improvement an team capability uplift.
