In this role, you'll:

• Coordinate work activities with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

• Undertake key administrative tasks including timesheets, leave requests, labour recovery, production planning, and work schedule updates.

• Support project delivery through workforce coordination, site documentation preparation, and resource planning.

• Lead and coach team members, communicate work priorities, and contribute to workforce capability development.

• Facilitate toolbox talks and team briefings to keep teams informed, engaged, and aligned.

• Identify opportunities to improve work practices, processes, and operational performance.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards while promoting a strong safety culture.

• Build effective relationships with Team Managers, Engineers, Project Managers, support teams, and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes.

About you

You're a safety-focused and organised leader with experience coordinating teams and delivering work in a rail, infrastructure, maintenance, or similar operational environment. You can effectively manage resources, solve problems, and keep work on track in a fast-paced setting.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Level 3.1 Track competency (or equivalent rail industry experience), or the ability to obtain this within 12 months of appointment.

• A current Class C Driver Licence.

• Experience managing works programs to meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

• A strong commitment to WHS, employee wellbeing, and EEO principles.

• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.

• Knowledge of rostering, labour costing, and operational reporting.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
